Chef Kristine Pabie's Bio
Chef Kristine Pabie is a passionate chef who grew up in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 2015. Her love for food started early, inspired by her extended family’s produce business back home, which gave her a deep appreciation for fresh ingredients and seasonal flavors. She began working in food service with her first-ever job during high school at an ice cream shop, where she gained hands-on experience and even learned to decorate cakes—an early creative outlet that fueled her growing interest in the culinary world.
Her specialty is Filipino cuisine, deeply rooted in her heritage, but after moving to Seattle and being exposed to its rich cultural diversity, she developed a passion for fusion cooking. Chef Kristine loves blending traditional Filipino flavors with global influences to create dishes that are both familiar and refreshingly new.
She pursued formal training at Seattle Culinary Academy and graduated in 2022. While in school, she earned her ServSafe certification, and after graduation, she continued learning from local chefs through workshops and cooking schools around Seattle.
With her previous experience as a line cook at Google for several years, Chef Kristine continues to hone her skills in a fast-paced, innovative kitchen environment, which led her to challenge herself and strive for new experiences as a personal chef.

Down to Earth Cuisine provides meals that are sustainably and responsibly sourced. We use GMO free products, organic when available, and wild caught seafood approved by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Guide to Sustainable Fishing.
Custom delivery uses only compostable containers to reduce plastic waste. We also work with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit that plants trees on our behalf to offset our carbon footprint.
