Chef Marissa's Bio

Marissa was born and raised in the greater Seattle area.  From a young age she was influenced to be in the kitchen. Marissa Loved that her dad made sure she was able to feed herself if need be. It wasn’t really until high school that Marissa found her true love and passion for cooking and food. She had an uncle that really pushed her to pursue her passion. So, she attended Renton Technical College right out of high school and completed their program in 2018, Marissa has been in the industry ever since. She’s done various styles of work from line cook, to catering, and most recently was a chef at an early learning center, where she cooked for 60 kids with various dietary restrictions. Marissa had always known that she was meant to be a chef and make people happy through food. One of her favorite sayings is “Your craving is my passion.”

Fun Fact:

Marissa loves spending time in her garden. One of her favorite hobbies is making home brewed cider. She owns 3 ducks, one cat and honeybees. And If the weather is right, she enjoys spending as much time outside as possible.
