Chef Matt's Bio
Mathew moved to Seattle in the spring of 2019. He came here with 15 plus years of
experience, looking to add the Pacific Northwest seasonal cooking to his resume. Believing in
the knowledge one gets from experiences, he has worked in parts of New York, Texas,
California and now Washington. Through those experiences, he has learned things like whole
animal cooking and southern bbq all the way to wine dinners and 10 top tasting menus. He is
confident with both high-volume and small private fine dining events. His happy place,
when it comes to cooking, is either tending a fire and cooking something for 24hrs or spending his time researching and practicing new techniques.
Outside of cooking, he enjoys “in-home gardening”. In his apartment, he grows tomatoes,
zucchini, peppers, wheat, herbs, microgreens, and a variety of house plants and cacti.
