Down To Earth Cuisine Gets Down To Business For a Good Cause!

Down To Earth Cuisine is excited to announce that the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has selected one of our own to participate in their Someday is Today event on October 27, 2019!

The event is an Iron-Chef like a competition where Chef David Boyd will go head to head against a fellow esteemed chef. The chefs will be given a mystery basket and an hour to prepare 50 tasting sized meals, which will be presented to the judges to be scored based on taste, presentation, and originality.

During the event, the guests are encouraged to partake in a silent auction, which includes a chance to be “sous chef” for the day or even a seat at the judges’ table! The guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, participate in free demos, and have the opportunity to purchase the chef’s prepared items.

We have accepted the challenge and are ready to show Seattle what we’ve got, although the real reward will be the contribution to such a great cause. Last year, the event raised over $12,000! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the largest non-profit at the forefront of cancer research.
